These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”, or “Agreement”) govern your access to and use of the Vaktun website, including all pages, features, products, services, content, and transactions made through the website (collectively, the “Website”).

The Website is operated by Vaktun (“Vaktun”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing, browsing, registering on, or purchasing products through the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, together with our applicable Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, and Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy.

2. ABOUT VAKTUN AND OUR PRODUCTS

Vaktun specialises in Rudraksha and related spiritual, devotional, and lifestyle products.

We endeavour to provide customers with carefully selected products, accurate descriptions, appropriate documentation, and information regarding the origin and characteristics of our products.

However, Rudraksha is a natural seed and each individual bead is inherently unique.

Accordingly, variations in:

  • Size;
  • Shape;
  • Colour;
  • Texture;
  • Natural markings;
  • Mukhi characteristics;
  • Surface patterns;
  • Weight; and
  • Other natural characteristics

may occur from one Rudraksha to another.

Such natural variations do not necessarily constitute defects or discrepancies.

3. RUDRAKSHA AND SPIRITUAL CLAIMS

Information relating to Rudraksha, including traditional associations, spiritual significance, historical references, cultural practices, and customary beliefs, is provided for informational, cultural, and spiritual purposes.

Such information should not be interpreted as:

  • Medical advice;
  • A medical treatment or diagnosis;
  • A guarantee of a particular health outcome;
  • Financial advice;
  • Professional advice; or
  • A guarantee that a particular spiritual or personal outcome will occur.

Individual experiences and beliefs concerning Rudraksha may differ.

Customers should exercise their own judgment and seek qualified professional advice where appropriate.

4. AUTHENTICITY AND PRODUCT REPRESENTATION

Vaktun takes product authenticity seriously.

Where an individual product is represented as Nepal-origin Rudraksha, such representation is made based on the sourcing, inspection, documentation, and verification processes used by Vaktun.

Where a product is accompanied by a certificate, the certificate relates to the testing or verification represented by the issuing entity and should be read together with any terms or limitations specified on that certificate.

The availability of a certificate does not mean that every characteristic, spiritual property, or traditional belief associated with the Rudraksha is scientifically or medically established.

Any authenticity claim will be handled in accordance with Vaktun's Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.

5. PRODUCT IMAGES AND DESCRIPTIONS

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, dimensions, colours, and other information displayed on the Website are accurate.

However:

  • Product images may vary slightly from the physical product due to photography, lighting, display settings, and screen configurations;
  • Natural Rudraksha products may differ in appearance from images shown on the Website;
  • Measurements and weights may have reasonable variations;
  • Packaging and presentation may occasionally differ from website photographs; and
  • Minor natural variations shall not ordinarily be treated as defects.

Where a specific product is individually photographed, the product image is intended to represent that particular product as accurately as reasonably possible.

6. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

All products displayed on the Website are subject to availability.

Vaktun reserves the right to:

  • Limit the quantity of products available for purchase;
  • Discontinue products;
  • Modify product specifications;
  • Correct errors in product listings;
  • Refuse or cancel an order where necessary; and

If an order is accepted but the ordered product subsequently becomes unavailable, Vaktun will communicate the situation and provide an appropriate resolution, including refund where applicable.

Where Vaktun cancels an order after payment has been received, the applicable amount paid for the cancelled order will ordinarily be refunded through the original payment method, subject to applicable law and payment-provider procedures.

9. ORDER CANCELLATION

Because our products may be specially selected, prepared, certified, packaged, and dispatched after an order is placed, orders are generally considered final once placed.

Cancellation requests are therefore ordinarily not accepted.

Any cancellation request received after order placement may be considered solely at Vaktun's discretion.

Nothing in these Terms limits any cancellation or other consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

10. PRICES

All prices displayed on the Website are subject to change without prior notice.

Prices may be displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) or another currency supported by the Website.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, applicable taxes, shipping charges, duties, or other charges may be added at checkout.

Vaktun reserves the right to correct pricing errors.

If an obvious pricing or listing error occurs and an order has been placed at an incorrect price, Vaktun may contact the customer and provide the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the affected order, subject to applicable law.

11. PAYMENTS

Customers must make payment through the payment methods made available on the Website.

Vaktun shall not be responsible for delivery failures caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

13. INSPECTION UPON DELIVERY

Customers are encouraged to inspect the package immediately upon delivery.

Where a product appears damaged, the customer should preserve the package, packaging materials, product, certificates, and all accompanying documentation.

For damaged-product claims, Vaktun may require a continuous, unedited package-opening video as described in our Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy.

Failure to provide requested evidence may affect our ability to investigate and process a damage claim, subject to applicable law.

14. RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS

Vaktun maintains a strict final-sale policy.

Returns, exchanges, and refunds are available only in the circumstances expressly specified in our Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy, or where otherwise required under applicable law.

Customers should carefully review that Policy before placing an order.

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges the applicable return and refund conditions.

15. AUTHENTICITY VERIFICATION AND BUYBACK

Where applicable, Vaktun may offer an authenticity-related buyback or refund mechanism.

Vaktun reserves the right to review the laboratory, methodology, report, chain of custody, and condition of the product before accepting an authenticity claim.

16. CUSTOMISED PRODUCTS

Certain products may be customised, personalised, specially selected, or prepared according to customer instructions.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, customised or specially prepared products cannot ordinarily be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded.

32. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with the applicable Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy, Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, and any other policies expressly incorporated into the Website, constitute the terms governing your use of the Website and your purchase of products from Vaktun.

Where a conflict exists between these Terms and a mandatory requirement of applicable law, the applicable law shall prevail.
